Do you think genetics play a part in regard to fitness? I do; especially when it comes to sports such as soccer, wrestling, hockey and basketball that are highly dependent on the athlete’s fitness level. The role of genetics is also very obvious when it comes to fitness based sports that test an athlete’s fitness though competition. Since I was living in Wisconsin at the time, I went with my family to see a Milwaukee Bucks game. On this particular occasion, the Bucks were playing the New York Knicks. In sports you will sometimes hear a coach tell his or her players not to be afraid to make a mistake. You may also hear the same coach tell his or her players to stop making so many mistakes. Perhaps the coach seems hypocritical for saying one thing on one occasion, and the opposite thing on another occasion. It may also be that the coach is referring to different types of mistakes when he or she tells the team not to be afraid to make a mistake, and then ends up telling the team to quit making so many mistakes.
